My Life??

We often think, relate and say ‘My Life’. But is it really ours or written and directed by someone and we are just mere players?? No one’s life go the way they think/dream/plan. When we don’t have a control over the past and totally unaware of what will happen in future, then if we still think that the life we are leading is ours then it’s either our blissful ignorance or a certain innocence.

As someone said, life is like a play, perfectly orchestrated by some unknown power and we just play our part. We don’t have control over the people that come into our lives, the part they play, the influence they make and the impression they leave when they finally leave you either high and dry or just wanting for more. Some come into your life a breeze, some like a storm, some to stay forever and some come just to leave. None of these again in your control. Nevertheless, with every such entry and exit, you discover and rediscover yourself so much that even a meticulous introspection fail to do.

Some relationships beg for commitment. Someway down the line, it ceases to be about just sharing small things that make you smile but turn into more serious bonding. Your heart starts looking out for every opportunity to be together and share everything. It gets hard to just stand aside and quietly watch life takes its own decision. Like never before, you want to take control of your life and own it. But when you get defeated again at life’s hand, when the delusion wears off, when reality hits hard, you realize that the colorful cocoon you lived in so far has been all imaginary and Life would, as always, be the final triumphant winner, taking its own defined course and you are just another shadow tagging along…

There is nothing such as things like “unknown power” in this materialistic selfish world. These were the things we were told by someone who’s trying to help/be nice to us when in depression to make us think that that’s not our fault in order to make us feel less guilty of our wrong doings or failures or loss whatever the reason for depression.

All these unrealistic stuff that make us think hopeless about life and might make us give up on our own life.

If we are strong enough mentally, we realise that everything was in our own control and it’s all happened because of our own/someone else’s wrong choices/actions. All we have to do is learn from the past experiences and move on in life.

When someone says its" my life " they mean no matter what happens either good or bad its their problem and not someone Else's, rather than calling it a blissful ignorance or innocence i would call it being them self or taking it the way it comes. --- A

For the first two comments...

Thanks for your comments. But the write-up above is more of a generic observation, and not specific to anyone in particular. If it oozes sadness and relates to any specific person, that wasn't my intention. i always felt that your life is not in your control and tried to convey it in the best way i could :)
